The Shaffers were established in 2005. Our members include supportive husband, Anthony Dean, commonly known as Tony; and loving wife Brandi Michelle. Adorable daughter Addison Rienn added in 06, and precious little Kaden Mikal joined the clan in March 09. We just moved to Washington, but we will always be Idahoans. We love lifes simple pleasures such as watching our daughter play, seeing our son smile, the great outdoors, good food, the company of family and friends, and football of course!

Happy Halloween!

We have been so busy that we waited until the night before Halloween to carve pumpkins and have our annual family party. We cranked up some kids Halloween music and let the kids gut our pumpkins.

For dessert we had apple pie, made by Addi and Mom a few hours earlier.
a la mode, (thanks for the ice cream Dad! :o)

Tony and I were both exhausted and didn't have the energy and the few hours investment required to pull off the pumpkins we had planned, and last second carved these 5 minute jack-o-laterns. The kids liked them anyways!

It is my highest honor to introduce to you, Her Majesty, Princess Addi, and her Knight in Shining Armour, Sir Kaden! :o)

Trick or Treating!!
This is Kaden's first year Trick-or-Treating. We thought it was the cutest thing in the world when he would say "trick or treat!", and then we had a problem because he would march on in the house and make himself at home. He was very upset when it was time to leave, and wanted to stay for a proper visit. Good thing we only went to neighbors houses that we knew! :o)
After we made the rounds around our block, we went to a Halloween Carnival at Addi's school. Both kids had a blast, and I got a wonderful workout chasing Kaden around.

We got home at 7:30. Kaden was asleep at 7:35. Addi was asleep at 8:05. They had a wonderful day wearing their costumes and really wore themselves out playing the part. What a great Halloween we had with our two amazing kids!
