Yesterday was our five year wedding anniversary. Part of me was thinking, "Wow, five years! Where did the time go?" and the other part was thinking, "Five years? It feels like WAY longer than that!" :o) To celebrate we decided to take the kids to Chuck E Cheese. Yes, that's right! Chuck E Cheese. We decided on a family friendly venue since we didn't have a babysitter, and didn't feel like taking the kids somewhere nice and trying to blend in. Tony and Kaden had never been to a Chuck-E-Cheese before, so everyone was pretty excited. It was the perfect way to celebrate our marriage. One of the things I enjoy the most is sharing a moment with Tony, when we both feel proud, and overwhelmed with love from seeing our child do something new, funny, interesting or challenging. No words are needed. Our eyes light up, smiles wide as we make eye contact for a moment, aknowledging that we have both witnessed this tiny wonder. The rest of the world spins on, unaware that something awesome has happened in our eyes. When we were dating we dreamed up this family that God has blessed us with. Because of our kids we are closer, stronger, and strive to be better. After we wore the kids out on all the pizza they could eat and all the games they could play, they passed out in the car, providing the perfect opportunity for me to show Tony all the fishing spots I had scoped out. :o) We took a nice long drive and enjoyed the lake scenery, then headed home and cuddled on the couch to a couple movies. Add the fact that we had dessert twice this day, pie and fresh peaches with vanilla bean ice cream, and I call that the perfect day!

I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with this man! :o)
