Family Play Date

This morning we ate breakfast in the car to get an early start, and drove to a couple of amazing parks in the valley. First stop was this waterfall. 

The main event of the day was Discovery Park, the coolest playground around!

Dawson turns 11

Our little cousin Dawson had his 11th birthday party yesterday. He is such a good kid and amazing athlete. I love watching him grow up! Someday we will be watching him in the NHL. And if that doesn't happen I know he will be awesome at whatever he does. They had a big barbecue for all Dawson's friends and family. It was a great family get together with delicious food. I was happy to have my Grandma's macaroni salad, and my cousin's macaroni salad on the same plate. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Happiness.

When I noticed Addi was no longer playing with the little girls, I went looking for her. I was surprised to find her playing football with all the boys. 

Dawson was using Addi as his secret weapon. He would point to who he wanted Addi to tackle, then send her on her way.

Addi was taking boys out left and right, as Dawson giggled and watched. 

Kaden found fun things to do everywhere he looked.

After all that fun Kaden takes a seat and gets ready for his cheeseburger.

Manito Park

This morning we took Daddy to work and went to a beautiful park that is nearby his store. We went to the classic rose garden, the butterfly garden, and the Japanese garden. It was such a beautiful morning, but started getting really hot! We played all morning and then headed home for an air conditioned lunch.

We hiked on some little trails, which was good since Addi had a hike scheduled for today.
