We hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas. Santa (or as Addi calls him, HoHo) managed to drop by and make a two year old very happy. She has been playing with all her new presents and keeps exclaiming, "Barbies, Babies and Ponies! Come on guys!" We have had so much fun just watching it all. Christmas Eve we had a few friends over and served appetizers and dessets. Sweet and sour bacon wrapped prawns, stuffed portebella mushrooms and crab salad, and of course cookies for HoHo. Addi and I also made cupcakes and had a little birthday party for Jesus. It was alot of fun. Addi stayed up too late on Christmas Eve watching the Polar Express and then starting her own dance party while shouting, "HoHo is coming!". Christmas morning We had to wake her up and then persuade her to get out of bed. (She is just like her Daddy!) Her new baby doll was waiting for her with everything you could need to take care of a baby doll properly. :o) We are hoping this gift helps with the addition of her baby brother. Then she opened presents, and was the happiest girl in the world. I was glad throughout all the excitement she still remembered to say "thankyou", and was overjoyed with each new gift. Except the clothes. When she opened those she would say, "No", shake her head, and try to wrap it back up. I guess learning to appreciate a great outfit is an acquired taste that she will have to learn. For Christmas dinner I made a wonderfully delicious breaded ham (thankyou Paula Deen!) and green bean casserole. Dessert was homemade apple pie and whipcream. What a perfect Christmas. A day of enjoying eachothers company, great food and gifts, and being thankful for all our many blessings.

Addi changes every time you post a picture! She is beautiful, just like her mommy.
