During Tony's week off we drove to Montana to visit my parents. They live in the woods, off the grid of our navigation devices. It is so beautiful there, and I am happy I got to experience a little bit of their amazing winter landscape. The kids were so happy to finally get there, and it didn't take them long to make themselves at home.
In fact, it is pretty safe to say they took the place over.
Tony and my Dad went ice fishing a couple times while we were there. Tony was excited to catch a sub-species of fish he had never caught before.
While the big boys were freezing their butts off on the ice, Kaden was doing his best to keep their chairs nice and warm for them.
Grandma also took us out to breakfast while they were gone.
Mmmmmmmmmmmm
All that food can leave a man in need of a good nap!
When Papa got home Addi was ready for story time.
While we were there I decided to take advantage of an opportunity for family pics. My Dad is an amazing wildlife photographer and he stated that it is in fact easier to take a picture of a grizzly bear then a picture of my son. :o) My Dad was able to get some great shots, even though Kaden was less than helpful in the process.
Before we left we all went out to breakfast and had a good meal before we hit the road.
We had to get home for the Steelers game!!!!
Looks like they are headed to the SUPER BOWL!!!
