#1. Playing Ball in the house is perfectly acceptable and recommended on a daily basis.
Now son, if you want to play ball for the Zags someday, we need to start training now! ;o)
#2. Get outside for playtime whenever possible!
Tony and I took the kids out for some family fun in the snow. We pulled the kids around on sleds and they had a ball. They aren't quite ready for downhill sledding, but this was a great first step.Tony was swinging Addi around in circles and she was hanging on for dear life!
Kaden loved watching his big sister fly around on the sled, he was laughing non stop.
Kaden decides he wants a turn on Dad's sled. He climbs on....
and lays flat on his back, looking up at the sky...
and laughed the whole time! :o)
~My Family~
Yes, he is throwing snowballs at his wife. Don't worry, I got him back.
Addi, you melt my heart :o)
#3. Hot cocoa and warm homecooked meals are mandatory.
I ran with the cinnamon roll idea, but this time used garlic butter and cheese for some super delicious dinner rolls. They complimented my "Thanksgiving" soup. I started with a basic creamy potato, and added pumpkin and turkey. It was a hit.
#4. Arts and crafts, or "hearts and craps" as Addi says, are the perfect quiet time activity.
They also keep things interesting!
