About Me

My photo
The Shaffers were established in 2005. Our members include supportive husband, Anthony Dean, commonly known as Tony; and loving wife Brandi Michelle. Adorable daughter Addison Rienn added in 06, and precious little Kaden Mikal joined the clan in March 09. We just moved to Washington, but we will always be Idahoans. We love lifes simple pleasures such as watching our daughter play, seeing our son smile, the great outdoors, good food, the company of family and friends, and football of course!

He usually falls asleep right after lunch. Or during lunch. One of the two.
Kaden loves to Color! He takes it very seriously, and it holds his attention much longer then it does his older sister.

I found this at a thrift store for $12.99! It is so adorable! Barbie doll house and Vanity in one. The Bedroom folds up into a mirror and sides rotate and have drawers and lots of storage. It lights up and plays music. The bench opens up for storage as well. It came with all the pieces and in perfect condition, and brand new it retails for around $200. It has entertained both kids for hours (Addi is constantly dealing with Kaden moving in his dinosaur collection).
We took a trip to McDonalds for hot fudge sundaes and so Addi could get a Happy Meal. She is REALLY into Strawberry Shortcake who happens to be featured as the coveted PRIZE in the box.
Notice Kaden's Dino shirt. He insisted on eating his entire lunch like a Dinosaur!

Went on a walk with Addi to the Post Office, and she found this leaf which she declared to be, "The most beautiful Autumn leaf in the West!"
When we got home, this cat was in our tree. When I was growing up we had a siamese cat,  and I have enjoyed watching this cat play in our yard.

Addi played with the cat for a while, that is until he BIT her!!! She was so upset, crying "That DARN cat BROKE my little heart! I thought he was nice, but he is a BITER just like Hendrix (our cat) and my baby brother!!"
The flowers Tony planted for me on Mothers Day are still blooming!! So pretty.
