~Spring Break~

Kaden's 3rd Birthday Party
This year for Addi's Spring Break Tony was able to take the week off. We started the fun by celebrating Kaden's 3rd Birthday at Triple Play Family Fun Park. We were joined by our dear friends the Sanchez family, and my cousin and her son. It was such an awesome, fun day for everyone. I went on the "toilet bowl" water slide with both Jess and Tony. It was the funnest thing I have done in a while, and made me feel like a kid again!

Here I am helping Kaden up the cargo net, and when he got to the top a GIANT bucket of water dropped on his head. For the rest of the day, every time he heard that bucket dump, he ran for his life!
^ Notice the giant bucket ^

Daddy and Kaden having fun!

We took a swim break and ate some pizza and had cupcakes.
Kaden really had to work hard to eat that cheese stick.

Baby Drakey!

Time for presents!

All the kids at the mining sluice.

My pretty little miner.

Kaden had so much fun at the arcade!

Black light miniature golf!
Kaden's philosophy: When you miss a putt, just drop it in the hole. It's easier. :o)

The kids on a roller coaster simulator. They LOVED this.
It was only a two person ride, but Addi was a good sister and let Kaden ride on her lap. She held on tight so he wouldn't fall off!!!
At the end of the day the kids cashed in their tickets for some prizes.
What a great way to celebrate a birthday!

Road Trip to Oregon!
After Kaden's party we took a day to rest, and we pretty much slept the entire day away. We were all worn out! The next day we loaded into the car and headed for Oregon to visit Tony's little brother and his family.

Kaden and his baby cousin Kash

Kaden sure loved on his cousin! We all did. He is too cute to resist!

We spent a day at the Oregon Zoo. It was rainy (that's Portland for you), but we managed to enjoy the day anyways. Tony's Mom and Step Dad joined us from Idaho, and it was nice to spend quality time with our family. My friends Dan and Amanda and their daughter Waverly met us at the zoo, and we had a nice little group.

Shane (Tony's bro) and Kassi enjoyed baby Kash's first visit to the zoo.

Polar Bears!

My little Bears, and how they measure up! :o)

Baby Kash stayed warm and happy in his stroller!

Kaden discovered the best view is on Daddy's shoulders!
But he also thought he was cool riding in his stroller.

Addi bought a disposable camera and enjoyed taking pictures of all the animals she saw.

He is so handsome. :o)

Safari time!
Kaden is upset he's not in the drivers seat. :o)

Kaden looked over at this sign and said, "Uh OH!"

The gang, walking in the rain.

Papa Henry helping Addi get a good picture of the zebra. :o)

After the Zoo we went to eat at Rogue Brewery.

Kaden really worked up an appetite!

Multnomah Falls
Before we left Oregon and headed back to Washington we had to stop at Multnomah Falls and take in the beautiful scenery.

We attempted to hike to the top. Tony was up ahead with Addi, I was behind them helping Kaden. I was beginning to wonder if Kaden could make it all the way, he was getting slower and slower. Just then, I see Addi start to panic, and her and Tony headed back towards us. She had to go to the bathroom. BAD. Tony was trying to help her, but he was moving too slow so we switched kids and I grabbed Addi's hand and we ran. ALL THE WAY DOWN. We were well past the bridge and hiking up the other side, and we barely made it to the bottom where the bathrooms were. I am sure we made quite a scene. When she came out of the bathroom she said, "Sorry about that guys! I went a little NUTS! Now let's get some ice cream!"

We found a nice spot to enjoy our ice cream.

and then we headed home.

The next morning I went into Spokane to spend the day with my Mom, who was in town visiting. We spent the day shopping, and went out to lunch. It is always so nice to be with my Momma! She is my bestest friend! :o)
My Mom came out to our house and spent the evening with the kiddos so Tony and I could get out for a bit. We went to the Casino and enjoyed the 32 feet big screen.
That is one happy husband! :o)

Easter Sunday
Easter marked the end of Addi's Spring Break. What a busy, fun, memorable week we had together as a family. We are very blessed. Tony's vacation also came to an end and he had to work on Easter. The night before we dyed Easter Eggs and got ready for a visit from the Easter Bunny.

Kaden was up early and looked down the hall to see that the Easter Bunny had made a stop. He started screaming in joy, which woke up his sister, and they both ran full speed to see what surprises lay in store.
New SCOOTERS!

Lining up his loot!

My Mom came out to spend Easter with us, and Kaden was happy to get his birthday gift from Grandma and Papa. He was not happy that Papa didn't come too, and spent a great deal of energy looking for Papa and asking about his whereabouts. He had a great day playing with all his new stuff. Spoiled Rotten.
the end.
