My little chickadees came down with the sniffles after we got home from our trip. We have been taking it easy indoors, which hasn't been so bad. We have found plenty to keep us busy, including watching the crazy weather out the window. We have been experiencing all four seasons daily, as it snows and blows, then rains and hails, followed by calm warm sunshine patches. The kids are feeling better now and ready for all the Easter excitement headed their way!

Addi wanted to make a super special pizza for her Daddy, just in case he was hungry when he got home from work. :o)
Good Job Addi!
The pizza was SO good. Mustard sauce, salami, kalamata olives and Italian cheese.
Earlier this week Tony brought home dinner from the Bistro in his store. We shared the "Carnivore" burger. Hamburger patty, four slices of ham, bacon, eggs, and who knows what else ;o)
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Tony put the kids to bed last night and my good friend Candelaria picked me up for a girls night out. She is a CPA and has been so busy at work that we have barely seen each other in months. She needed a break, and I was happy to join her. We went to the awesome casino that is less than 10 miles down the road. Even though gambling is really not my cup of tea, this place is so cool that I might just forget about the twenty bucks I gave them last night. We played on an Indiana Jones machine, but my favorite part was people watching. All the young kids dressed up for the night clubs and all the older people dressed up to gamble and dine. It was fun to catch up with a good friend and get out of the house for a couple hours.
