This past Saturday was Founders Day in our little town. Addi was asked to be in the parade with high school girls team and dribble her ball. She was reluctant at first, because she was a little nervous. But she practiced, and practiced and practiced her dribbling and was excited and ready when the big day arrived.

 Here comes Addi! 

 She looks so cute next to all those tall girls! 

 She had so much fun. She dribbled her ball all over town that day. She really enjoyed giving candy to all the people she recognized along the way. She said, "Mom, being in a parade is a lot like being famous! I liked it SO MUCH." :o)

How could you not love her? 

That night we had a STARS WARS marathon to kick off our Fathers Day festivities. 

The next morning we made Tony his favorite breakfast, and we spent the afternoon at the park. Tony wanted to drive there, but Addi insisted that we walk, so she could dribble all the way. I sided with Addi, and we took off down the road in a line, each with a ball to dribble along the way. We shot around for a  while when we got to the courts.

 The wind was really strong that day and I just happened to have two kites in my backpack. :o)

 Addi was having so much fun, she didn't want to leave.

Kaden let go of his kite when he saw the playground. Tony had to chase it down. :o)

 This kid is dangerous while playing. I have to watch him closely! Addi was always so cautious, only doing things she was really confidant she could pull off. Kaden tries everything, and doesn't seem to mind at all if he hurts himself doing it.

Yesterday was Addi's last day of Kindergarten!  Addi's teacher invited families to join them for their last day. We were amazed by her growth and performance over the year. She is an outstanding reader for her age. She is ready for 1st grade! But first, she is REALLY excited to enjoy her SUMMER BREAK! 

 Let summer break BEGIN!
