The Shaffers were established in 2005. Our members include supportive husband, Anthony Dean, commonly known as Tony; and loving wife Brandi Michelle. Adorable daughter Addison Rienn added in 06, and precious little Kaden Mikal joined the clan in March 09. We just moved to Washington, but we will always be Idahoans. We love lifes simple pleasures such as watching our daughter play, seeing our son smile, the great outdoors, good food, the company of family and friends, and football of course!

Family Fun Day

Saturday was a lazy day around here. Girls day on Friday wore me out! Shannon and Gordy got dolled up and went into Spokane and had a nice afternoon date. I stayed home and relaxed with the kids and Starley the dog.

Sunday was Family Fun Day.  We woke up and played some Hungry Hungry Hippos. I believe that about 50 games were played over the course of this day. Even Gordy got in on the fun.

I made ultimate biscuits and gravy

And then we went into downtown Spokane. We started at River Park Square,
and then we walked across the street to River Front Park.

The Race is ON!

We went on the Sky Ride over the Spokane Falls. This is Addi's face as we were waiting to get on... :o)

Addi!

After the Sky Ride we all needed a spin on the Carrousel. This was Kaden's first time. He thought it was pretty dang cool.

We went and had a fabulous lunch at Cyrus O'Leary's and of course we all had some Turtle Cheesecake for dessert. Afterwards we went down to to the water to feed the ducks our leftover bread. Addi told her Daddy that feeding the ducks is her favorite thing to do. He was happy to hear that considering it is a free attraction at the park.
It was another fabulous day. The boys went home to play video games and the girls stayed in town for a couple more hours to do some shopping. Later that night I made pizza for dinner.

This morning the Robinsons had to head back to Southern Idaho. We are so thankful for their visit, and will always remember all the fun we had together.
