About Me

My photo
The Shaffers were established in 2005. Our members include supportive husband, Anthony Dean, commonly known as Tony; and loving wife Brandi Michelle. Adorable daughter Addison Rienn added in 06, and precious little Kaden Mikal joined the clan in March 09. We just moved to Washington, but we will always be Idahoans. We love lifes simple pleasures such as watching our daughter play, seeing our son smile, the great outdoors, good food, the company of family and friends, and football of course!

in conclusion...

2009 is over and done and I just can't get over how fast my life is passing by. The last 10 years of my life have been a very exciting chapter, testing the waters in this crazy world. Sometimes I still feel like that 18 year old girl, fresh out of highschool and on my own for the first time. Then I look around and realize how much has changed since then. This summer is my ten year reunion! Holy Cow. The best blessings of 09 were the birth of our baby boy, and life with our vivacious, curious and loving three year old. Both kids have grown and changed so much over the past year. Addi was a baby this time last year and now it seems like she is ready for school. Kaden at nine months old now is eating solid foods, saying words like Momma, Daddy, Baba, Map, Dora and even Backpack! If you can't tell he is a HUGE fan of Dora the Explorer. He is pulling himself up and standing but not quite ready to take that first step. Both Tony and I have good jobs and manage our schedules so that one of us is home with our kids at all times. We celebrated four years of marriage and seven years together as a couple. And I think the best part of it all is falling in love with the same man over and over again.
Some of my New Years Resolutions of 2010 include: Broadening and diversifying my culinary skills, Go GOLFING MORE!!, teach myself how to sew, more dates with my husband, stay better in touch with family and friends, teach Addi how to read, and to smile more! :o) Looking forward to what 2010 has to offer us.
